Dr. Sheff graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1987. After a few years in general practice, he joined the Airport Animal Emergi-Center in 1991 and became Hospital Director in 2006. He has a special interest in emergency care and enjoys performing surgeries to help pets recover. Outside of the Emergi-Center, he practices primary care medicine and surgery once a week at Meridian Veterinary Hospital.
Dr. Gust graduated from Purdue University’s school of veterinary medicine in 2003 and has been working ER at AAEC since 2005. Surgery and diagnostic ultrasound are two of his favorite aspects of ER work. Dr. Gust takes pride in taking a pragmatic approach to veterinary ER work and advising clients in a manner that acknowledges how expensive veterinary emergency medicine has become. Helping people and their pets through emergent, life-threatening situations is what has motivated Dr. Gust to work the difficult hours for so many years and, hopefully, many more.
Dr. Gray is a homegrown Indiana veterinarian, raised in Brownsburg and a proud alumna of Purdue University, where she completed both her undergraduate studies and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (2011).
Her professional journey began in Clinton, Indiana, where she practiced companion animal medicine with a unique specialization in camelids (alpacas and llamas). A year into practice, she and her husband moved to the Indianapolis area, where she practiced small animal medicine. After five years as a general practitioner—during which she regularly provided relief support for the Airport Animal Emergi-Center (AAEC) —she officially joined the AAEC full-time team in January 2017.
When she isn’t providing critical care, Dr. Gray is enjoys traveling and outdoor activities. You can usually find her cycling, weightlifting, hiking, gardening or enjoying quality time with her family and friends.
